So I’ve begun slipping Christmas music into the Flinchbot Radio stream. Over the years I’ve collected quite a bit of cool and hip Christmas songs. I figure if you want to hear the traditional classics, go somewhere else. But if you want to hear remixes, indie-rock Christmas originals, and generally interesting Yuletime tuneage, then this is the place.
I did this last year and I was actually enjoying the music. It was much less nasueating than the music piped through the louadspeakers at malls and other stores. This stuff is actually good music. Well, most of it.
Anyway, there is still mostly the usual indie-rock being played right now but every few days I dump some more songs into the stream until the week before Christmas when it will be all Christmas music.
